Installation and Design

A MIAMIA installation art work or design concept may find its home anywhere.

Mia's creative inspiration is ignited by the materials she works with, from textiles, paper, wax and inks to, cane, glass, recycled wood and an array of found objects.

Her works are also inspired by, and made for, spaces. A gallery, restaurant, warehouse, public space, forest, bedroom, staircase, window, stage, garden, beach, foyer, doorway.

Community Cultural Development

Mia is passionate about using art as a tool for relaxation, personal exploration and to play. In her role as a facilitator she is interested in listening to participants and finding practical ways to turn their ideas or inclinations into a creative adventure and a result.

Mia loves to bring flexibility, fun, individuality and the freedom to experiment into the art process.
